The larger mag catch is fatter/wider, therefore doesn't "stab" the edge of your thumb, to some folks. Also, it's ambi! I love the new texture on the Gen 4s. Congrats!!!

Are you serious? I only paid $450 otd for my Gen4 G17 and sold it for $500(unfired condition) when I picked up an OD Glock 35 for $505+tax

We live in the communist state.... not a free state like Arizona.... The Glock Gen4 is not on the roster.

Is this a serious question? I didn't know secretaries are law enforcement officers too. You need to be sworn peace officer. You need two magic words on your department ID..... "PEACE OFFICER"

A good example is the Fish and Wildlife inspectors. They're with law enforcement agency, and they're sworn federal officers. However, they are not authorized to carry a firearm in their duty. Can they buy off-listed handguns?

I dont think so. Only CA peace officers are exempt from the roster and the hi-cap mags. Like I said, if you have the two magic words "PEACE OFFICER" PER PC83XX on your ID, you are good to go.
