Just bought 2 old Ruger revolvers

A 1981 Security Six in Stainless, .357mag with 6" barrel and a 1982 Redhawk in Stainless, .44mag with 7 1/2 barrel. Less than a 1000 rounds thru them and in very good shape.

I bought them from my brother's former SIL, who I have known for over 30yrs.

I can get them on the 15th from gun jail, but I'm waiting until Sat., the 19th so I don't have to fight traffic on the 91/15 in the afternoon.

Now, I'll have 5 SS handguns. 2 S&W revolvers, the 2 Rugers and a Ruger MK III .22.

Just wanted to brag about it; no other reason.

As mentioned, the Security Six is one tough revolver. I have a 4" heavy barrel version I bought in '82.
You can't hurt it!

Well, I see your back pain hasn't kept you from making it to a FFL and doing the DROS.

My wife has a Security Six she's had since before we were married. It's been flawless with every shot for over 30 years -- they are good, solid revolvers.

I've never owned a Redhawk but those I know with them have never said anything negative about them.
