    Magazine loader for Hi-Power

I was wondering what is a good magazine loader for Hi-Power magazines? I've seen some for $6 and some as much as $26.

The Maglula UpLULAUniversal Pistol Magazine Loader is highly rated at MidwayUSA.com and is $26. Does anyone here have one? What do you think of it? What magazines are you loading?
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

UpLULA has worked for me on the following magazines:
    Wilson 47D
    Ruger P-85 9mm
    Sig P228 9mm

The loader saves wear and tear on the hands. Many shooters have borrowed mine at the range. The UpLULA works!!!!!!!!!

I'll let you know. Based on a couple searches & rave reviews, I bought an Uplula to go with the wife's anniversary present, a SIG SP2022 and extra mags. The Uplula will certainly get a workout next weekend.

I've found that loading double stack 9mm mags is a bit trickier than single stack .45ACP.

I also have a CZ-82 in 9X18 Makarov. Do you think this one will work with it too or should I get the one for .380ACP?

just got the uplula based on another recent thread here, and it's as good as advertised. i'm pretty critical when it comes to gimmicks and accessories, and this is one that actually lives up to the hype. don't waste $6 on a loader, you'll probably end up getting the uplula at some point so just do it right the first time.

Your thumbs and fingers are all you need. Workout your hands so they are stronger and fire your guns more often to brake in the mag springs. I have never seen a need for a mag loader just a gimmick to spend money on. Instead of spending money on a mag loader helper buy more mags.

I've been using an Uplula for years on my single/double stack mags in 9mm and .45 acp, Browning Hi-Power included. They save a ton of wear and tear on your thumbs/fingers. I carry an extra one in my range box, because every now and then someone sees me using it and asks where to get one. So I sell them mine for $25 as a favor.

True in theory and I generally agree the less gimmicks the better, HOWEVER, the Uplula is just faster. I'd rather spend more time and less time loading.

Where were you 2 weeks ago when I ordered mine?? $25 is cheaper than what I've seen online AND not to mention shipping costs.

If you don't already have a UpLULA, you got to get one! They are simply the BEST!

The UpLULA is awesome. I use it on my Glock 19 9mm mags. I found that I can spend far more time at the range shooting than futzing with reloading while the clock ticks or having to carry a ton of mags.

While I can understand not wanting to buy every latest trinket, the whole "get stronger hands" advice doesn't always fit the situation. I had a class I had to get through and, after 500 rounds, yeah, my fingers hurt. I wish I had the UpLULA at the time and I could have saved myself a lot of trouble.
