    FFL In Davis

Anyone know of one? Is there one close if not in Davis?

I called Big5 and they refused to do a handgun PPT. I didn't think this was legal.

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Also in Woodland is Norse Armory.

My vote goes to Norse Armory, Matt and Eric are upstanding great guys and CalGuns supporters to boot.

Norse Armory is the closest. When I went to college there I enjoyed buying rifles at big 5 just to stick it to all of the liberals in Davis. The people who worked the gun counter there weren't that bad either.

It is legal for an FFL to refuse handgun PPT's if they do not normally sell handguns.

I would go with the suggestions in Woodland.

Rob at Golden State Tactical is not that far. I get all my transfers done through him. It would be hilarious if Davis actually allowed a FFL to operate within city limits!

Toro arms just north of Davis. Info was already said above. I've only heard awesome things about Rob at Golden State Tactical as well.

When I was at UCD, there used to be a kitchen table FFL in North Davis that handled PPTs and Out of State transfers. His name was Carlos and I did a transfer through him. Not sure if he's still in business, but I can try to find his contact info

Considering I am meeting the seller who is from around Concord, GST is a little far. I've used Rob a lot in the past.

                          Try Center Mass in Vacaville.

I actually use Center Mass for the main body of my practice as it's a fairly nice indoor range. It's about equidistant from The Gun Room, and I like Center Mass better.
