Some of them used to be but Taurus let them fall off the list. Only way to get them now is PPT or Single Shot.

Have Stainless Taurus 9mm 1911 no problems. Certain Taurus revolvers are good.

I have just always liked the look of the taurus 1911.

Taurus guns can be hit or miss as far as quality, but their 1911s along with thir Beretta clones seem pretty solid.

I bought mine as a starting point for a build, the first 1000 rounds went great. Not a single malfunction with mostly my reloads fired, but lately I have been having a few light primer strikes. Although I have never tested the trigger weight I swear it is less then 4lbs, less then my Kimber Tactical that is 4.5lbs I know that.

Do not buy. I could spend 3 paragraphs explaining why but I don't want to offend those who already bought... If that's your price range the RIA Tactical is much better quality.
