help with glock trigger problem

I have heard this before. Without giving names a student in a friends class had a modified glock I believe it to be a glockworks trigger. Caused the same issue.


He had an AD and grazed his leg.

update..Called glockworx and they suggest that it may be debris in the striker channel. So I am going to clean, test, then test fire.

Bull****. Debris in the striker channel could prevent the pistol from firing, but does not cause it to fire upon trigger reset. By all means clean & test it again, but therein does *not* lie the problem.

The issue is with the Glockworx trigger itself, perhaps the overtravel screws just need to be adjusted, or it may be a defective unit. Back out the overtravel set screws and if it is still firing upon trigger reset call them back and be more firm in your questions.

I was once looking into changing out my trigger, after talking to many people, not one person suggested that it was a good idea , and when I asked specificly about the Glockworx trigger all I heard were ill things about reset problems and malfunctions. And as if it mattered, I have now (after USPSA match in Oakdale) shot over a thousand rounds through my 34 without cleaning and without a malfunction. I will clean it tonight after I get home from work. Just because now that I said it; I feel so guilty! Note: treat your Glock with as much respect as you do your Sig (she gets cleaned after every use, but then again she has to be)
