Pistol selection help...

My daughter is looking for a pistol with the following requirements; 9mm, lightweight polymer frame, minimum 4” barrel length, moderate size grip frame, DA/SA trigger type, no Glock-type triggers. Any suggestions?

I have an XD 9mm Service and it's great. For $450, you can't beat what you get for your money. However, it's not DA/SA - it's more of a SA and it does have the "Glock type" trigger. And some people don't like striker-fired handguns.

PS. I think the CZ-75B has a steel frame. The CZ P-01 has alloy.

I would recommend looking at Sig P225. Great shooting gun, also being a single stack it's just about perfect for smaller hands. Downside: may be difficult to locate.

I would suggest one of the following Sigs: 226, 228 (if 9mm), or 229 depending on if it fits her hand.

Sig Pro SP2022 is my first choice because of price. A used USP40f or USP9wouldn't be bad either. The Sig would win over because of better Customer Service.
