    RIA new models

1)Any dealers out there know when RIA will be shipping their new railed .45 ?
This is the new 6", but the one im interested in is the Gov. model with a full length dust cover which is the 2nd picture that people got to shoot at shot show media day.(rumor is April/may)
2)Anybody got any info such as price ? I did notice that the long slide has a bushing-less barrel as well as a full length guide rod wonder if that will carry into some of there other models. I like my mil spec i bought last year, especially the price so ill be looking to use this as another platform to improve on (like my current one, mostly wilson combat and fusion parts now).

I know there are a bunch more higher end 1911s, i would love a nighthawk grp, springfield operator or FBI loaded, pretty much any WC, but like most people money dictates. I built my RIA for considerably ($150+) less than the price of a custom 2 with much better quality parts tailored to my liking, if the price has gone up exponentially on these, ill probably just get a frame kit and build something (easier on the wallet buying a few parts here and there). Got most of the info from M1911.org, so i feel its pretty credible. If anybody was able to shoot it at media day, impressions would be cool

I tried to do some research on this as well. All I found out was they were showcased at SHOT show and were going to be ready for sale sometime this year. No new 1911's will be added to the CA approved Handgun list so your only chance is to get it the single shot way... or wait till the list dissipates.

        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

In two weeks you will learn that "two weeks" is an ongoing joke.

The two weeks is an on running CalGuns joke that started a few years ago I dont quite remember the context now but I beleive it had to do with the milpitas AR lowers.

I really want their 9mm commander size, but no new RIA will come to California easily.

                  Down with the roster!!
