Good review... I have the same holster, for the same weapon (USP). It does it's job well, but I would still pay extra for the serpa w/tac light. Hope they make it soon.

does the suede inner make a big difference in protecting the slide? the last serpa i had wore out the slide scary quick.

to tell the truth, the suede doesn't really protect the slide. it fits really snug which can lead to faster wear. i guess it really depends on the finish of the gun. my usp is only showing minimal wear.

Good video. I like this one better though.

              It's too late, it's over.

just a FYI, the hammer have to be down before you can lock the hood. also, remember to release the hood first before you attempt to grab the gun. if you try to release the hood while drawing (one continuous motion), often time the hood will not clear the hammer and your gun will snag.

after hours of practice on my 92, i realized that in order to do a flawless draw, i must reach down thumb first to release the hood. once the hood is clear, i then grab, draw, and unreleased safety in a continuous rotating motion of my wrist. the key here is there is two distinct motions rather than one.

i have both blackhawk and safariland. so far, each have their own strength and weaknesses. however, i do think bladetech's retention method should solve all the short coming of both blackhawk and safariland.
