Hello, I'm aware of how the state makes it so that when you buy a handgun directly thru the dealer (FFL), that the gun must be registered in your name and is registered to your current address of residence.
But, that whole scheme doesn't apply to Private Party Transfers of handguns, correct? I am not clear as to whether PPT's of handguns are or are not registered by the state with your name and address like guns thru the dealer are. I know for sure that handgun PPT's are exempt from that awful 30 day waiting period between buying a handgun. If someone could clear up my inquiries, that would be awesome.
