    First Date: New Old Agent

Opened the box this evening to a pleasant surprise, a 1977 Agent (well, ok, it's not that old).

Trigger and action is the best of any snub I've ever owned, even after custom trigger work.

    Nyclads ordered, range trip planned.

Ya know, good honest wear can be a beautiful thing.

        very nice!
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

Yes, Agents and Cobras have alloy frames, Detective Specials are steel.

I carried a 1975 model as my back-up for 33 years. Like an American Express Card, I never leave home without it.

Was it the Sgt. Joe Friday Commemorative model?

Or maybe Sgt. Joe carried your Commem!

Whooah!! Shot so well at the range today I might just have to sell the prom queen and carry this little soul shooter.

Best shooting snub I've ever owned.

Congrats Doc, are you going to do some work on this Agent like you did with your Snubbies collection. I really like those Ponies.

                          Thanks

This one shoots so well, I may just add a grip adapter and carry it "as is".

Then I'd just sell the purty one.

Sounds like you made a good catch.

I'm generally not a snubby guy, but I do have a 2d run Agent (Park'ed) that I really like to shoot and it shoots quite well.

Very nice. The Colt D frame is my favorite small frame gun.

                              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
