check the sear and hammer hook to see if its rounded off. check your trigger disconnctor to see if a tab is broke off or warn down. check the sear spring to see if its install properly or does it provide sufficient force to keep the sear in place.

Hey everyone, so I started with the advice from cj cake and swifty to test it by dry firing and see what it does. All done without ammo - dry fire: I got it to fire twice every time by pulling the trigger and holding it back then racking the slide and when releasing the trigger it would fire again.

It turned out to be the firing pin safety spring. When I stripped the slide I found it sideways. After cleaning the slide thoughly and assembling it, I tested it doing the same method dry firing it. Now it works exactly as my other Glock does. I will be taking it down to the range soon and find out for sure.

And glad to hear the ammo law was struck down

I'm with locosway on this. . . be very careful . . .

1. If you have an out of battery ignition, it may hurt some bad . . . you could loose an eye or worse. . . and shallow chicks don't like guys with one eye.

2. A range master or eye witness, may call the police and it could get confused into an auto situation, which may be a felony and prohibit you from ever using a firearm again. Having said that, i'm sure if an officer showed up, they would understand that you recently purchased the firearm with that defect and you'll fix it immediately... but, do you really want to be put in that situation?

I'd be more concerned with number 1, since I like my hands and face the way it is.
