Finally got my 6" stainless Security six .357 mag today............after a six week wait! (Consignment gun, holidays, 10 dros and all that garbage!)
After got it home and even given it a closer look at, (after a good clean/lube) I don't think it did anything but set in storage. Can't find a scratch on the wood stocks or metal, bore is perfect, cylinder lockup is like a brand new gun? By the serial number I think it's a late 1982/early1983 gun......159-45XXX.
I got it for $350+dros/tax and because it took so long they shop gave a box Winchester 38sp. ammo.

Question! Did the stainless six 6" made '82-83 come with a small red insert on the front sight stock? Because
mine does, also came with decent (target?) walnut stocks, the type that come up to the trigger guard?
