.22 LR Conversion Kit for Browning HP?

(re-posting to correct forum) Besides the Ciener kit, does anyone know of other .22 LR conversion kits for a BHP?

Also, the Ciener kit comes with a 13 round mag. Is there a way to get a 10 round mag for use in CA or modify the 13 round mag to decrease its capacity to 10?

There is the MACs Conversion Kit.

    Its About $180 from E-Sarco.

Read the review and it seems promising.

Nice I have been looking for a .22 conversion for my Hp
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

Looks like a good price. I saw it on another website for $250. I don't see the ability, however, to buy additional separate mags like you can with the Cierner kit. That's really a shame. I sent an email to the vendor to see if that is an option.

One benefit (for California) is that this conversion kit comes with a 10 round mag. The kit made by Cierner comes with a 13 round capacity, if I recall correctly.

Here is the link to e-sarco. I couldn't find extra mags though.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Cierner sells the mags separately. Any reason to think that the Cierner kit mags wouldn't work with the MACs conversion kit?

              According to their website:

MAGAZINE: The magazine's capacity is 14 rounds. We have two patents on its design. It is designed for this unit and can not be used with any other kits that we know of.

.22 cal magazine's are excluded from the "large capacity" (ie, 10 round) max, correct?

What then are they referring to in Cal Penal Code 12020 when they say, "shall not be construed to include any of the following ... A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device?"

                    12020 (a)(2) Commencing January 1, 2000, manufactures or causes
to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or
offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, or lends, any large-
                    capacity magazine.

12020 (c)(25) As used in this section, "large-capacity
magazine" means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity
to accept more than 10 rounds, but shall not be construed to
                    include any of the following:
                    (A) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so
that itcannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.
                    (B) A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.
                    (C) A tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action
                    firearm.

Tube feeding device are like the ones on marlin 60 rifles. They not talking about handgun magazines. Here's a marlin from a calguns pic.
