    custom glock question

Has anyone owned/ever seen a full size glock with the grip cut so that it takes compact mags? Is this a dumb *** idea? A full size slide with a compact grip in 45 would be pretty cool. A 21 that will take 30 mags. Doable?
Iam a good shot. At least i think i would be. Iam a good free throw shooter.

A grip reduction for a G21 that will take a G30 high standard capacity mag? Is that what you're asking?

It's an interesting idea. Assuming you had both a 17 and a 26, you could cut down the 17 to accept 26 mags. If there are "sleeves" for the 17 magazines it could allow you to have a full-size grip on both pistols.

I have both a Ruger SR9 and SR9C. Considering the fact that Ruger makes sleeves for the full-sized mags for use with the compact model ... hmmm.

i wouldn't do the 17 to 26 chop but i've been close to doing a 17 to 19 chop more than once.

                Resale value would suck

Sometimes these weapons with permanent modifications are hard to sell down the line.

                One factor to consider.

If I did/attempted something like this id buy a beater to do it with. Iam not made of money but if I NEEDED the $450 id get for a used glock then I have much bigger problems.
