Have the USP9 and a P226. Bill Steele hit all the points I would've made nearly verbatim. On the recoil part, gorenut's description is spot on. It feels like the gun is cycling slower than it is. Overall, it feels a bit smoother and I prefer HKs in general. I wouldn't give up the P226 though.
