    Sig X-5 Comp.

I have heard nothing but great things about this pistol and am looking for a good price on this pistol. Buds Gun Shop offers it for $1589.00 . Does anyone offer it at a better price? My wifes cat just set us back $2600.00 in vet bills so it will take some time to save but fondling one in my local shop I fell in love. I have a serious gun problem. Is their no cure????? Thanks, Sammy

You could start by getting rid of the cat

That may be why he wants to buy the Sig.

I feel your pain. I have been looking too. I check Gunbroker regularly and have not seen a single low priced one for months.

I bought mine from a guy over on Sig Forum($1,500). Great gun, smooth transaction. However, mags are a real pain, since they don't make the CA version of the X5 mag. You have to use the standard 226 mags, which sits about 1 inch high in the magwell. Also the X5 mags sell for $100 each, so you can sell them or have an out of state friend keep them. I would keep them because that is where you would loose value if you sell the gun.
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.

          With guns, we are 'citizens.'

          Without them, we are 'subjects'.

As demonstrated in the previous pic, you can remove the mag funnel so that you can more easily seat standard 226 mags.

I had to ditch the magwell, because our wonderful 10-round magazines rendered it useless. Mine currently wears Nill grips (part number SS0858):
