    CCR Refinishing

I'm thinking about sending my PM90 Hi-Power into CCR Refinishing to have the Cera-Hide finish put on.

Has anyone used them for this finish?

I was trying to get a CZ82 that some yahoo said could be gotten for $90 buck but would never say where, and use that as a trial run.

Should I use my current CZ82 for a trial?
Should I just go a head and send the FM90?

    I'm so confused
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

CCR does GREAT work. I've had six SIGs refinished by them. Absolutely flawless!

Everything I've seen CCR do has come out looking better than before. In all honesty though, I've never gotten a clear answer on what really sets their proprietary coating system over others. Despite that, I don't think you'd be disappointed with the service they provide.

Even though I've never been a paid customer of Todd at CC, he's always been more than willing to help and I've seen him really step up to the plate for people on Sigforums. It speaks volumes on his attention to customer service at a personable level. Plus all the work I've seen from him as been top notch as well.

I've never had work done by them, but Brad and Mary have built a very fine reputation for excellent work and service. Their coatings are really not that different from others being offered...Cera-Plate is electroless nickle, Cera-Hide is a Spray-n-Bake coating (although they have introduced a new Nano technology coating); I like companies that keep up with improvements in products

What sets them apart is they prep work and attention to detail prior to applying the coatings. That and they are nice people to deal with. I know a couple of very good gunsmiths who use CCR in preference to better know re-finishers because of their consistency of quality work
