I have EFK fire Dragon barrels in both of these calibers for my 23 and they work perfect.

Buy a G23 and then a 40-9 Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel along with a G19 magazine and you have a gun that can shoot both .40S&W and 9mm.

make sure it is a conversion barrel as a regular 9mm barrel will not work in a .40/357 glock.

also the conversion barrel must be for a g19/23 sized gun. one made for a 17/22 will not work.

the slides and ejectors are not the same between 9mm and 40.

I would avoid the fire dragon barrels. The 2 I bought do not work properly and their customer service is terrible.

I have shot a couple of thousand rounds through both of my EFK barrels over the last six years in my gen 3 Glock 23.

Got any details of your problems. It is important to use the proper Glock mags for the caliber and model glock you are using.

I have used my 23 for HP for the last six years with my EFK 357 sig barrel(ported compensated) I trust my life with it. I shoot it often with all types of cheap ammo and it is solid.

I was using my Colt Python when I upgraded.

I personally would not trust a conversion barrel when my life is in danger. Just range time only.
