nope, if I remember right .32-20 was a Winchester designed round for small leaver action guns, and was later necked down to the .25-20.

Right. .32-20 is a rimmed case with a flat nosed bullet for tube magazine lever actions such as the Winchester. Also was a black powder round. Someone -- I think Colt made a revolver for the .32-20

My grandfather was a state trooper and his carry gun was a Colt revolver in .32-20 and my sister has it -=/ .. It was that or a .35 Marlin leveler action my grandmother let me choose from.. I kick myself in the rear now that I am into handguns more than rifles.

Both Colt and S&W made them. Years ago I shot a S&W. I wish i had bought it.

We have an old Smith and wesson revolver in 32-20 in the family. Neither I or my father have ever shot it. I always have my eye out for some ammo.
