    S&W MP9

Well as you guys know from my other thread I was debating on purchasing the Gen4 Glock. So I rented it. Shot very well, trigger nice and broken in. But even with the addition of the changeable backstrap it doesn't take away the blocky feel for me on the front. Again I have little hands from beginning of palm to finger tip is only 7.25 inches.

So I rented the M&P but it was in 40 cal. The straps are interchangeable also. But the front of the strap has more of a countered rounded feel more similar to a 1911 which is what I shoot. So I fired some rounds absolutely amazing to say the least. The trigger I actually like. I like how you can take that bit of slack out of it and it breaks clean, almost single action like. The accuracy is wow. Never have I shot so well with a pistol before.

Here is a pic of my best group of 10 round magazine at 15 yds standing two hands. I know it's not all that, but for me I'm proud. The larger holes uptop are from 1911 .45

Do you guys think it will be any different with a 9mm?

I'm thinking of trying the XD 9mm, any thoughts.

I love my FS 9 so much it has replaced my Glocks and made me buy a compact to go with it
My opinions are my own and do not represent the position of other companies I may be involved with.

Love my M&P full-sized .40. It's my trustworthy home defense weapon.

Nice. Did you rent it at The Range? If you did you shot it alot better than I did. I liked it too.

            The range

Yup. They have a good sale going on right now. I love that trigger. I think it's what helps it shoot like that. You can stage it and blink and it goes off. That joint trigger even helps with speed shooting. I noticed I slapped the trigger a few times and the jointed trigger absorbs it. That was my best group as you can see it took me 40 rounds, to warm up.

its a decent gun.. remove the mag disconnect and it becomes a pretty good gun... if s&w could fix the malfunction that causes it to sometimes chamber a round for you when you load a fresh mag (or even make it do it every time and call it a feature) id say its a great gun..
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

                who wants a fishtank?

                  Price

Price is probably the only not so great thing about it. Cost more than glock and springfield xd.

I love my M&P40C, but I've only put thirty rounds through it, if your looking to buy, normally the best prices I get around here are at Pete's Sport Shop in Madera, but that being said, I buy almost all of my guns in Turlock at Bilsons Sports, Paid $559 for mine. I drive to my sons in Lodi often so it's on my way, other wise it's a 90 mile round trip twice, not worth the savings.

A&A will probably be the cheapest in Fresno.
