I've put about 3k rounds through an RTF2 frame Glock. It does offer really positive grip and my hands took a couple weeks to get used to it. After that, it's just grippy and doesn't irritate your hands too much. For long sessions, it will a bit but it shouldn't ever make your hands bleed. The worst my hand got was a little tingly around the highest contact points after a few hundred rounds. It didn't snag on my clothes. There is no reason it should snag on your holster, the grip isn't touching any part of the holster, not even the retention hood if you're using a Safariland or similar holster. That being said, I've gone back to the regular gen 3 frame texture.

I just ordered a g22 rtf 2 and still waiting for it to get out of jail. I workout
A lot so have rough hands anyways but the way it felt at store I'm sure it can't be any worse on your hands then the sandpaper grip.Comment

to be honest if your cranking off hundreds of rounds especially when it's hot and your sweaty it gets un comfortable - why anyone feels the need to shoot 500 rounds at a time is beyond me, you should honestly invest in shooting gloves if thats the case. Also part of the discomfort comes from loading that many rounds your skin just gets raw.
I've never had my hands bleed but after a day shooting mixed rifle and pistol it's a rough texture on likely sore hands.
For it's intended purpose it's perfect, non slip very comfortable for a long time and cool looking too.
I have the g17rtf and I love itComment

I call the RTF2 design "mini acupuncture texture" because they feel like tiny little spikes on your hand. Feels great.sigpicComment
