Have you checked Amazon.com? Also, what is the primary purpose? Is the safe going to used primarily for storage? Keep the kids away? Security for when you are not home? So you don't have to purchase a trigger lock?
If it's for storage or security I don't see any reason why you can't purchase a small safe that is not specifically designed for firearms. Sentry makes quite a few safes that are small and affordable. They may not be specifically listed for "firearms" (for liability, I'm sure), but they would do the serve the same function as a safe that is a "firearm safe" in writing.
