the only thing holding me back from buying a RIA over a Springfield Mil-spec, is how much i have heard about how difficult it is to replace the sights. On the tactical, I have heard you cant just replace with real Novak sights, because the cuts are different. Anyone have experience with replacing them?

The ONLY complaint I've had with my RIA is the sights...but I got the super cheap bare bones model with not much in the way of sights to speak of... Interested in the answer to Bellehood's question too, as I wouldn't mind some decent sights on mine.Comment

I called RIA in Nevada about the sights for the Tactical Model. I was told around $200 for the plain jane 3 dot sights. That's not including the shipping cost to RIA. I sold the gun. Too bad they don't produce any with 3 dot sights.Comment
