the only thing holding me back from buying a RIA over a Springfield Mil-spec, is how much i have heard about how difficult it is to replace the sights. On the tactical, I have heard you cant just replace with real Novak sights, because the cuts are different. Anyone have experience with replacing them?
Jobs I have had, payed for by your tax dollars:
    -Sandbag-filler who carries around a 203
    -Sandbag-filler who carries around a 249
-Sandbag-filler who carries around a radio
-That guy, who when given a single, normal M4, hides in the Bradley, and sleeps.

The ONLY complaint I've had with my RIA is the sights...but I got the super cheap bare bones model with not much in the way of sights to speak of... Interested in the answer to Bellehood's question too, as I wouldn't mind some decent sights on mine.

I called RIA in Nevada about the sights for the Tactical Model. I was told around $200 for the plain jane 3 dot sights. That's not including the shipping cost to RIA. I sold the gun. Too bad they don't produce any with 3 dot sights.
