    My G35 came with one and very useful in competition. It all depends on the use.

    You can see how much it sticks out.

      My Rhino has 5,870 miles / Most of them with one of my Glocks
      They have seen a Lot of Trails , Mud , Sand. Snow , Dust .crawling into mines
      I don't need to lose another Mag ..................

            I agree with this.

            You don't need to send it to a gunsmith. It's a fairly simple procedure if you can follow directions. There are Youtube videos on it.

              I have one, and I dont shoot in competitions. I have smaller hands, so it works for me. Havent lost a mag yet, and I carry my Glock a lot. I used a Fobus holster and now Im using a Blackhawk holster, if that matters.

              Its your gun, and do as you please, but I dont think its needed.

                  I tried one on a 23 and had nothing but problems with it, but I have pretty big
