I was told by a guy who legally has suppressors in CA, it is possible, but you need to jump through a lot of hoops.

You need an 01 FFL, and then some kind of SOT stamp or something from DOJ. It costs him like $1000/yr to keep it up, and he told me in the end it really isn't worth it- if you give up the license, you give up the cans.

I have also heard this from a patron of mine that works for the DOJ D.O.F., I wonder if it's even worth jumping thru all these hoops though. If I had the time to do the research to do it legally I might...

You can get a FAKE suppressor or as we call them "FAKE cans"

You have to move to America to get one of those. In some places it is just considered being "neighborly".

It took me a minute to figure that one out. Funny, but sad.
