    I was told by a guy who legally has suppressors in CA, it is possible, but you need to jump through a lot of hoops.

    You need an 01 FFL, and then some kind of SOT stamp or something from DOJ. It costs him like $1000/yr to keep it up, and he told me in the end it really isn't worth it- if you give up the license, you give up the cans.

      I have also heard this from a patron of mine that works for the DOJ D.O.F., I wonder if it's even worth jumping thru all these hoops though. If I had the time to do the research to do it legally I might...
