My G-19 50% of the time & my G-23 the other 50%. However, I would have zero problem at all primarily carrying either of my "go-to" backups: PPK/S with Cor-Bon Pow-R-Balls or 637 w/ +P loads. Those two I usually carry in ankle-glove holsters, as they are so perfectly compact. So, if you want smaller, either of those would work very well. The Kahr MK9/40 is another very good CCW piece. Wish I had one!

Since you have a 19, a 26 would fit nicely.

get a ruger lcp if possible. It's very accurate and comfortable to carry.

One has night sights, the other with fixed factory sights.

Also took the 23's.....same thing, one with night sights the other factory fixed.

After spending some time the G27's, 165 Grain, (and really lovin it), I was surprised how big the G23's felt when switching over......and I always thought they were fairly concealable being a compact.

One thing for sure, IMO...both my wife and myself felt equally the same about this...results backed it up....was the magazines with the grip extension's were not as accurate as simply shooting 100% totally factory.

Not saying the extension is nice to have on hand....but I can certainly do with out it altogether.

What a sweet little handgun in .40 cal. IMO.
                Definitely worth giving it try!!!

You're saying that a plastic cap that replaces your factory baseplate & increases magazine capacity actually affects accuracy? Am I missing something here???

No....just noticed that without the extension the firearm felt better and out 10 yards our groups were tighter. Can't explain why.....maybe it was the idea the Pinky finger just hangs down......Hell, I don't know.

Only put 300 Rds. through the 2 27's between my wife and myself today... so maybe it was because we were trying to focus on NOT using the mags with the extension for CCW purposes....and it's possible we didn't give the extension enough use time.

I like the extension....but like I said....for CCW and no risk of printing...I can certainly do without it and that was the primary reason for CCW.
