Assuming the OP went to his class today, which gun did you end up taking?

I took both!!!! I used the XD for a little while, was told by the instructor that the gun was alittle small for me. So i told him i had a 1911 with me and he said if you want to switch it out you can. I switch out and had a great time shooting the 1911. Thanks for all your input guys. Looks like the XD will have to become my wifes!! Guess that means i have to buy a new gun!!!
