roster is still in effect. there is a CGF court case trying to get it thrown out, but it isn't a given that it will be successfull.

Interesting... I called Ruger a while back and talked to a live rep. The guy claimed they submit every gun to CA for testing and that we should see the LCR Magnum on the list shortly.

Somehow I believe this email a little more.

Has the Ruger LCR 357 been submitted for CA DOJ approval? Timeline of when it may show up on CA Approved List?

        Response:
We are planning to submit the Ruger KLCR-357 for testing so that it will be available for sale in California, however, we have not done so yet. Please check back with us in a couple of months for an update. Thank you for your patience.

Looks as if they're taking names!

A good sign in my book.

          Response:
Thank you for your interest in the LCR .357. We do anticipate this gun being submitted for testing within the next couple of months. After the testing is complete, it will be submitted for approval by the State of California.
I will keep your e-mail on file and when we have more of an approximate date, I will let you know.

Can you shoot me a link, I missed why so many are confident the approved list is on the way out.

            Thanks

I played with one recently that another calgunner had for T&E and it is too small for my liking with that short of a grip.

If the 357 model get's approved I will get one just because, I already have the LCR in .38 and I can tell you 1 thing for sure. It will kick the crap out of your wrist and hand!!!! After about 30 rounds it is no fun to shoot.

I own the 38 LCR and really like it. I am saving my pennies and should have the 357 in April. Sorry to read that it is not available in CA.

Does the .357 have the same trigger reset problem the .38 has?
