Here's the P226 with the Big 5 Nebo on it.

Here is a P226 (with a 22LR conversion slide on it) with a Streamlight TLR-1 in a Safariland holster.

Here is the P226 with the TLR-1.

By way of comparison here are the two of them together.

I Bought the same cheap light and though if its only $40 how can I go wrong. I tested it; its useless on a gun.

                1. Its super bright!! (This is good)
                2. It casts a wide beam and a very nice VERY BRIGHT and concentrated center sport. The center spot is blindingly bright. (This is good)
                3. The center beam is shoulder width at 25 paces (ok, this is good)
                4. My aimpoint was in the center of the bright center beam (Ok, this is great! Put the spot light on the target and your aim is perfect)
                5. This light is worthless on a gun. It won't withstand the shock of firing. At the range, the first time and everytime I pulled the trigger, the light would turn off or switch modes. The switch mechanism is VERY weak! This light is worthless on a gun.

The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Does that unit fit securely on the Sig Rails? I have been told that the rails are not exactly made to the Picattany rail specs. Do they have a shorter unit so the light will be almost flush with the barrel?
