OP, get a digital scale. it saves A LOT of time and frustration.
Ah yes...a Dillon man...nice gear...but out of my price range so I went with RCBS. What digital scale have you found to be satisfactory ? I'm still using a balance beam scale of course...accurate enough but SLOOOOOW.

I like to store my primers in a sealed plastic container with lots of dessicant bags in it. Those primers will suck up moisture in a house like nobody's business. Learned that the hard way on a case of small magnum pistol primers.

i got the $120 rcbs scale. its at the top left of the picture. it can be bought cheaper on the internet but my local store had one. the reason i bought it was because my balance beam kept falling apart and/or sticking. buy once, cry once. and i couldn't be happerier. makes me wonder why i loaded for months without one.

Ok, I'm just a noob so this is a serious question. Should your neighbors know you reload ammunition? Any chance you'd blow yourself (and your neighbors) up?

You got enough space for another D650 and a single stage press.

I was planning to stock up on some cases of ammo before the deadline, but this seems like a better approach.

Any suggestions re good books/videos for beginners?

Anyone in the San Jose/South Bay area interested in teaching (or attending) a "reloading for beginners" class?
