Great bag. For soft pistol cases I like using the Midway ones. They take up less space.

Note to everyone: This is a huge bag! Too big for my taste.

A friend of mine is regretting buying it now. It's just too big for his purpose.

I have one each of the large and small Midway range bags. They are my favorite range bags for the money. I purchased the large bag when it was on sale, this past April. At that particular time, it was on backorder. I had to wait about a month to receive it.

Last Thursday, I received an e-mail from Midway, which noted that there had been consumer complaints with regard the the bag's shoulder straps not staying in place under a heavy load. I have experienced this problem with the larger bag.

The e-mail contained a customer service link to receive new shoulder straps. The said recognized my account and 2 previous bag purchases. Within minutes, I received a confirmation e-mail, which stated that 2 new shoulder straps were being sent to me. Now, that is stellar customer service.

I trust that the new range bags are fitted with the proper shoulder straps.

You can use a cable lock and thread it through the the zippers and the strap D ring.

I have just purchase the bag at full price last week. I call them just now and they placed the price difference as Midway dollars (store credit). Great customer service.

Great bags, but they don't lock (easily). I actually use a gun cable lock to go through both main-pouch zippers and the metal shoulder strap ring.

But even with this limitation, they are still well worth $40 (it's a heck of a value).

                Thank you

I searched for 'pistol insert', the item has 'pistol insert' in the title, but the search returned nothing. They really need some competent IT help.

This is an awesome bag, ordered one for the same price a while back. Ill never need another range bag, if this one wears out ill buy another. Holds everything I need and more for the range. You won't be dissapointed.

Will try that then, hopefully they'll do it . Bag arrived today good quality it seems.

                    Only cons I see are

                    - Only 2 pistol pouches, bag this size should have 4
                    - zippers are plastic
                    - The strap to open the top is a bit thin

But like other say, for the price it's worth it

I spoke with a couple of CS reps and even a manager at Midway this morning, asking about a black range bag with the black logo. They put in my request, but said if more people request the same thing then they'll look into mass producing this and get rid of the current white-logo on the black range bags. Yeah, I know you can take a sharpie to the white threads, but it doesn't look the same as using black threads on the logo.

They do have the olive drab bags with the black logos in stock right now.

I have this bag for the past two years. Great range bag. BTW its the same bag as the 5.11 which is about 2x the price. The only difference is the metal loops that connect the strap.

The velcro straps on the hand straps are coming off but no biggy. I also used permanent marker to blackout the midway logo. =)
