Great Bag. does not have a specified area for lock but i do use a padlock on it that should cover the "secure container" BS. -
I have the red and white logo style, so I wasn't sure if it was the same one until I read -
Note: MidwayUSA has updated the logo on the olive drab bag. Some of these bags feature a red and white logo which is the old style. The new black logo design will be released after the red and white inventory has been sold.
To answer your question, the double zippered side and end pockets are lockable with padlocks, but the main center compartment has two zippers about 6" apart that open simultaneously, I don't see any way it could be reliably locked.
It's a very nice bag though, HUGE, and well worth the money.sigpicNRA Life Member.Comment

I read this awhile back, and this is what I'm personally waiting for before I purchase their bag. I don't need another range bag, but I will get it if it's exactly what I want for a bag. Just waiting to see if anyone posts up somewhere that they received the black logo Midway range bag, and then I'll order one.
Otherwise, it's a good bag from what I've personally seen compared to others out there.Comment

What!! I just ordered it at the non sale price.
BTW I got one with an all white logo design. It is a great bag at $59.99, but an even better bag at $39.99.Last edited by Dubels; 09-27-2010, 10:45 PM.IANYL. All post are made for my own personal entertainment purposes and should not be relied upon as legal advice.Comment

you and me both pal, I posted a thread about this last week and went with the midway... leave it to them to screw me over. Oh well at least I still saved $10 w/ a coupon so still only lost $10 I guess.More guns for followers of the FSM!Comment

Oh and by the way I have the "downsized" version of this bag, and if there was one problem I have with my bag is the zipper holds/ties breaking off and forcing me to retie them and burn them to fuse them together. I'm pretty sure the bigger one will probably use the same components.Comment

+1 on emailing the CS at Midway about the price difference. They will give you store credit. I'm also waiting to get the OD rifle case but do not want the red and white logo so I'm waiting out. Does anybody know if it's double zippered so I can lock it? I have one of their older rifle cases with the red and white logos and it is single zipperred.Comment

Awesome bag. I can hold 6 handguns, ammo, tape, high-viz targets, water bottle, Eyes and ears,(several sets) 20 magazines, snap caps, etc.....comes with two pistol inserts so be sure to order a few more if you need them. The included shoulder strap is necessary when full.
I still have room and it comes with a second pullout bag that holds 2 more guns, mags, and whatever. Also comes with a vented cup with a clips to your bag for collecting brass. The built in magazine straps are the best thing about it.Comment

I don't see the extra pistol inserts on their site. Do you happen to have a link or a product number??Awesome bag. Sure. Midways site can be difficult to navigate. Many items are hidden from normal searches.

For a similar pouch with the same dimensions, you can also look into the NCstar or any generic pistol pouch that's sold out there (anywhere from $5 - $10). I picked up a few at a local surplus store for $5 each, and also bought one from Ebay for $10 shipped. What's nice is they come with 2 zippers so you can put a lock on the pouch, and open them up to where they can lay flat. The Midway pistol insert only has 1 zipper so the pouch can't be locked (if you wanted to use it as a locked container).
Something like this.... just another option for you guys.
