If anyone is interested Wesley over at The High Road is selling Kimber handguns at cost. I've emailed him for a few quotes and his prices are pretty low.

Capitol that's the exact model I'm interested in. Would you mind PMing me with the price to save me and the seller the trouble of swapping emails? Thanks and I won't post the info anywhere.

btw I'm also a member of The High Road with the same handle as here.

This is very dangerous. I just got out of my one gun per 30 day DOJ penalty box from my Smith 610 I bought and it looks like I am going to get another 30 days in the hole becasue of this lol. I also asked for a price on the Montana 84M in .308 as I need a new pig gun.

                Somebody stop me.

I'd like to pick up a 10mm but I don't know if the parts on the 10mm and other 1911's are compatible. I would think that most, if not all of the parts (except the obvious ie. barrel, mags, etc) are readily swappable. Anyone here know for certain?

So are you using a local FFL for transfer or driving out to taft?

Anyone know for sure if Kimber uses internal or external extractors for the 10mm series?

i think someone posted this earlier this week.

on that note, what is the advantage of the 10mm over the .45?

i think the 10mm ammo costs more too. hows the recoil, feel etc copmared to .45?

i got a quote from him and the prices are VERY tempting.
also if anyone on the peninsula found a willing FFL to do this without chargeing more or shaking their head, let me know!

                          thanks
