went ahead with the midway bag because i'm sucker for quality/price ratio, guess I'll need to buy 2 more small pistol bags then.

I do like the idea of just tossing my Tupperware into large duffel bags though

The Midway bag is a knock off of the Shooter Connection Bag

If you are not going to use it much, the Midway will probably work but if you are shooting IDPA or USPA type matches, they get beat up pretty quick. The SC bag will survive the abuse. The Midway will not.

I have this range bag from Fusion, it was on sale for $29.95 last August when I bought it, I should have bought 3 if I only knew that it was an awesome range bag here: http://www.fusionfirearms.com/servle...erproof/Detail

The MidwayUSA bag is nice, but I'd only get it when it's on sale for $39. I'm not a fan of logos on my range bags, but the Midway bag is a nice one.

For 4 pistols, you'll definitely need a bag that's at least 24x15x10 in size. Any smaller, you can't really hold any extra parts/ammo.

A laptop computer bag is a really great range bag. They will hold two pistols and don't look like a gun bag. They have all kinds of pockets for stuff. I can't tell you how well they work out. I don't take my shooting box anymore, the computer bag is just so handy.

I like the hatch style patrol bags for the range. I have two of the hatch and 1 by koplin. The koplin one is actually heavier duty in that it has a rubberized bottom but is no longer offered I believe. I like the large main compartment and the easy access top. The nightstick holder on top is good for holding rolled up paper targets. I can keep my range and membership cards in the ID holder.

Here's the link to LApolice gear. They tend to have pretty good deals.

Yep, Midway bag. You get a small one and one large bag. Tough, easy to carry, holds everything. Wait till they go on sales for $39. I did.

                Great bag, not too expensive.

I like a large messenger bag, more comfy for taking along on two wheels

Keep you backpack and get this movable storage cart to haul your ammo.

I got a Voodoo Tactical two-in-one range bag at the recent Phoenix Crossroads gun show. The price was right and I was buying some other stuff from the vendor so I got a bit of a deal. Plus, instant gratification is a powerful lure. It's a nice bag but that Midway model is pretty darn nice too. I try to keep the range bag simple. The more you stuff into it, the heavier it gets and the more stuff gets lost in it.

I also recently picked up a Plano Protector Series hard sided plastic molded 4-handgun case. It's got lots of foam included with one layer being the kind with cubes pre-cut so you can punch out shapes for a custom fit. It's no Pelican case but for $10 at Wal-Mart, it's a great way to get your pistols to and from the range safely. (I saw this same case at the gun show for $30!)

One vote for i-SHOT. I've beat the crap out of it over the years and it still hasn't lost a stitching or a button.

I see tons of range bags for sale at gun shows too. With the added benefit that you can examine them in person before choosing one.
