Range Bag Suggestions?

Hey all,

Well, looks like I'm getting 2 more pistols so I'm up to 4 now which means that tossing tupperware boxes into my backpack isn't going to work anymore. Can anyone recommend any good quality range bags that won't break the bank and can hold 4 handguns?

I second the Midway. I have it in 2 sizes. Very well made and much less expensive than others of similar quality.

Mine is a $20 gym bag. Don't need to be spendy as long as it works.

You can use anything from a small suitcase to a plastic toolbox, but a gun bag is made for guns. Most of the guys I shoot with use the CED bags. They run about $100.

Ditto on the Midway. I have one in each size for pistols and rifle.

That Midway bag looks awesome! And the price is even better! The video on the product page sold me. That empty casings bag with mesh bottom is one of those "I coulda thought of that!" things. Pretty cool.

Is it a CED clone? Or the CED a clone of the Midway?

Another vote for the midway. If you only plan to take 1/2 pistols to the range the smaller size is perfect, otherwise get the larger size.

well looks like most are for midway, Guess I'll get that.
So i'll have no problems fitting in 4 handguns? do they have separated padded dividers/compartments for each?

I purchased from Midway a couple more of the pistol rugs, including one that has pouches for mags. I really like the Midway bag, except for one thing. Once I load it up with two handguns and two hundred rounds of nine mm and a value pack of .22, it starts getting heavy. I also keep some tools in there. I really do not see anything better than the Midway for the price, especially when they have a sale on them. I think I paid $35 for mine last Christmas.

Similar question was posted on another forum. Probably about 90% of the people on that forum also recommended midway range bags.

That Midway bag has 341 reviews and almost all of the customers gave it five stars. Must be awful good.

I believe it's a clone of the Shooter's Connection bag. I've got both and the quality of the Shooter's Connection is much better, but it costs 3 times more.

My CED failed prematurely and I went with an Eagle, which has performed well over the last two years.
