++2 real weak case that expanded too much?

A case that has been reloaded too many times becomes brittle and splits.

I reloaded a 9mm case 30 times using a maximum charge of 231 under a 147gr bullet last weekend. The case did not stick. I reloaded another 9mm case 25 times the weekend before. It did not stick either.

Finally got the case out. Put a screwdriver down the barrel and pushed the handle of the screwdriver against a post on my patio. The bumping & pushing at the same time freed the case. I couldnt see any reason why the case would stick in the chamber but I tossed that bad boy & I will clean & lube that pistol before firing again. Thanks for the help.

Case looked fine ; was within sammi specs.

have a smith look into the action of the gun. might be a bur, a very bad bur causing it to lock up.

better a couple dollars spent there then at the hospital.

Did you measure the expanded diameter vs a known factory round?
