They have a couple of .38 supers, no 9mm on roster yet.

I would not expect it any time soon.

why would the 9mm not be able to get on roster? its a 1911 and they have 45acp and 38 ont he roster why not the 9mm.

Because anything new to the roster has to have a mag disconnect and a loaded chamber indicator and they do not have either one .

Because it's a cheap 9mm 1911... not my thing but there's a market for it.

They should market a 9mm conversion kit for their 1911s. They would sell sh** loads of them at $200 or so.

I called Armscor this very morning and asked the question of Ivan. He said that they are not going to submit for approval because of the requirements, which could change as soon as they retool to be able to comply. I couldn't argue with that logic. I wanted one for shooting steel as it's a lot cheaper than either the Springer or the Kimber. For that matter, does anyone know if there are any other 1911 9mm's that are appoved for California?

springfield has a couple on the list, not sure about kimber

or you can do a conversion on a 38 super, but that could cost you almost as much as a springfield
