    Why Colt renew the Python on the DOJ list? Are they planning to remake the Python??

      Wouldn't that be great? But, alas, I doubt it.

      They do keep paying the extortion fee to keep it on the list however.

        I think it is very cheap for them to keep it on and is probably done as a courtesy to us folks in occupied territory.

        I spent some time lurking around some Colt forums and some avid collectors who have toured the factory and have connections there laid out pretty well why it will probably never be made by Colt again. Maybe USFA will get a license to make them someday.

            Colt National Match pistols are C&R. I can't remember if the S70 Gold Cup is considered a "National Match."
