      I own both.

The TLE has about 2k through it and the MCO is almost brand new with about 50. That being said.

      The Kimber
80 series firing pin stops (schwartz)-Never an issue but it is for some
External extractor-Never an issue but it is for some
I like the Mepro sights on the kimber better
      Full length guide rod
Barrel in the white and will rust if not kept up
      Finish shows wear quick
Nice 30 LPI front strap checkering
      Functions 100% except on wolf.
Would trust it with my life
Never had any of the infamous internet Kimber problems

      MCO
      70 series
      Internal extractor
Novak sights... Blah, too small for my eyes
GI guide rod that I like much better
Barrel will not rust as quick as the kimber given same abuse
      Tough finish
      No front strap checkering
Would not hold slide back on last round. Had to send it to Springfield for a fix. They ended up just shaving down the slide stop a few thousandths.
      Too early to trust 100%
Dont like the pachmyr grips. Like the standard grip panel configuration.

Both are laser beams and shoot much better than I do. If I had to choose only one, I would have to go with the Kimber. Its proven itself extremely reliable its accurate and I love the way its set up from the factory.

      Forgive the crappy pics

Who did the custom work on that gun? That is a slick install of the S&A mag well and have a gun that could use that treatment. Thanks.
