I just bought one on Friday, so I'm in my 10 day countdown. Looks really slick and fits my hand great. I bought the all black with thumb safety, night sights, no internal lock and no mag disconnect. I'll post more once I get it home and out to the range.

The M&P .45 feels WAAY more comfortable in the hand and 10x, no make that 100x, better looking than the XD45... IMHO

Yeah, usually Turners is usually pretty good about getting new models in stock, especially S&W's,(about the only thing they are reasonably good at) but I didnt see the MP40 when I was there on Friday. If they get them soon, no doubt they will be on sale after a few weeks.

The Brea indoor range had one in stock as of Friday. I believe the price was $569. They sell firearms and do transfers there now. They don't carry a lot but what they do have seems priced as well, if not better than Turner's.

hhaha! I was wondering about that mag disconnect and chamber loaded indicator stuff. cool! hope I dont sour it, but i bet you get a letter like we did on when our p22 became an assault weapon all of a sudden. doh!
