For all my guns (most are polymer), I use Hoppe's #9 for general cleaning if the guns are pretty dirty. For general cleaning, lubrication and wiping down my guns I use Breakfree CLP. I usually lubricate the slide rails and lubrication points on my guns with a few drops of either Breakfree or Militec 1 synthetic lubricant. I haven't ever had any problems using these cleaners/lubricants and function has been great on all my firearms.Comment

ditto. Except I use Medium on rail and on my P-series, Lite on tighter places and on the slide of my Sig Pro. I use CLP or oil on pivoting parts like the hammer.Slide-Glide Standard or Heavy.

When it comes to the rails I always go with Slide Glide especially when talking the 1911 or any full railed pistol with all the rail contact. Much better than the thinner oils.sigpic

Tetra Gun Grease for just about everything presently, as it just works so well for me. I am also experimenting with using M7Pro "LPX" ... seems to work great so far.|

✟ In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good. And behold the Lord said, "Thou shalt not muck with my disciple John's design for it is good and it workith. For John made the 1911, and lo all of his weapons, from the designs which I, the Lord, gave him upon the mountain."✟Comment
