I think a lot of you keep missing that $750 is out the door... It's not that bad a price. He could potentially save $50-60 by searching, but this one was there and he doesn't have to wait. NOT A BAD DEAL.

I know for me locally, $570+$50 transfer and DROS (Yes, that is all he charges me) ends up being $620 OTD. Thats more than just $50 savings if you could find anybody near that to do a transfer for you.

I wish I could find a tactical pistol course here in so cal, I can take the time off needed for Front Sight...Any suggestions ?

Glock 34's Rock!!

You will find the the G34 is easy to shoot. Soft shooting 9mm and longer barrel and slide is easy on the eyes for target practice.

Well it does of course help to have someone to do an FFL transfer for $25 LOL.

The closest places to me all charge $50 at least, and they are supposed to charge CA sales tax.

ITTS and Falcon are both in So Cal and are highly recommended on these boards for training. Check the Competition and Training Forum for student reports on their courses. You're going to love the G34. Go shoot a thousand rounds before doing any mods. If you find it slippery get some grip tape. If you don't like the sights, change them to Heinie, Dawson, Warren or Ameriglo. Other than that resist the urge to tinker with it. There are a ton of aftermarket products on the market but your money is generally better spent on ammo and training. If you really want to have fun with your 34 go find some IDPA and/or USPSA matches to shoot.

Thats my main focus, I really want to get proficient with the glock and shoot a comp.

OP there is always someone out there that can get or got a gun cheaper than what you paid for it. You paid what you paid. Don't worry about a few bucks you could have saved. Its an awesome gun. I just bought one myself today.
