At half the price of a Beretta Cougar ($350), these would sell really well.

Only difference between the two? Manufacturer name changed to Stoeger. Same tooling, same pistol.

Beretta Cougar is still on the approved list, the Stoeger has been denied a few times. (According to email I received from Stoeger)

AND...Stoeger's OWNED by Beretta! I've been looking for the Beretta variety for some time now, but they're getting pretty rare, not to mention pricey. There are not even that many on the Gunbroker or Gunsamerica sites.

Sure would be nice if the Stoeger's could get Cal approved, but their answer to my query pretty much said that they weren't even gonna try.

I wish the P210 was certified, and the USP45 Tactical.

If I could wave my magic wand and make all pistols from one company CA-certified, it would probably be SIG. I want a P210, a P220 Match SAO, and an X5 Tactical.
