This describes every handgun made if it was offered at the right price. Even Hi-Points will fly off the shelf if you priced them right ($75/ea)...

No, I understood this to mean those guns that will fly off the shelf because of what they are, or scarcity, even at obscene prices, that sell for 1/2 in 'free' states.

Stripped Stag lowers purchased as pistols out of state (with manufacturers letter) and registered with the DOJ as such.

I think those 100$ lowers would go for 400-500 easy. (I know cause I want one)

By the looks of this thread, there are no off-list handguns that "will fly off the shelf because of what they are, or scarcity, even at obscene prices, that sell for 1/2 in 'free' states".

My point demand is impacted by pricing as much as the product itself. I would guess there are no current production guns available in the free world that are immune to pricing concerns.

Actually, as the previous guy pointed out, Stag AR receivers registered as pistols... and for that matter, Nodak Spud NDS-6 pistol lowers, both of those would get easily twice what they run for in free states. $230 for an AR pistol lower? Not a big deal. $110 for an AK pistol lower? Also not a big deal.

I'm not sure if many people would call a $230 or even $500 AR pistol lower "obsene". Sure, as a percentage of price, they would fetch a great profit. However, in real dollars, probably no big deal.

                              Stoeger Cougar (9mm or .40S&W)

At half the price of a Beretta Cougar ($350), these would sell really well.

Only difference between the two? Manufacturer name changed to Stoeger. Same tooling, same pistol.

Beretta Cougar is still on the approved list, the Stoeger has been denied a few times. (According to email I received from Stoeger)

                                norinco/chinese makarov

I need to get one or more of the military or commercial examples
                                to round out the collection.
                                Only available by PPT.
Not rare but apparently few available
in NorCal based on my years of unproductive search.
                                Cannot be listed though.
