    Ugliest Handgun Ever

I have seen several threads here about what people think are "ugly" guns, usually in reference to handguns, and I have never been able to come up with an answer because I rarely think of guns as ugly - they are what they are and so be it - most have similar lines or features, and even many cheap models share those lines.

However, while I have known about the Hi-Point since its introduction, it would slip my mind if asked about ugly guns, because it is not even a blip on my purchase radar, and not even a gun I recollect when thinking about guns:

    Now THAT'S ugly!!

Are you kidding me? That looks like a ferrari compared to this. Not even close.

Liberator .45 single shot pistol which took forever to load and required a pencil to remove the casing out of it. For the French Resistance.

I'd still rather have the liberator

That Hi Point looks like the AMC Pacer of the gun world.

Haha! The liberator was quite an idea. It could be the best looking gun you've ever seen under the right circumstances!

I actually own a Liberator. I don't think of it as ugly because it was designed for a specific use and to meet those needs, it needed to be made quickly, cheaply, and in mass numbers to be dropped into the fields. I also don't think of it as a gun for repeat performance. After about 4 rounds, they won't even shoot close to straight. (Mine was fired once, by me). Safe and simple for anyone to use, but also be a throw-away.

It's actually QUITE beautiful considering it's intended purpose - helping our WWII soldiers in desperate situations, as well as rebel citizens in lands occupied by Hitler that had their guns taken away from them.

          Yes, quite beautiful!

Oh, I didn't question its utility for resistance fighters, and I would also take that over the Hi Point, but over plain aesthetics...
But then there are these runner ups:
            Type 14 Nambu

            Type 94 Nambu

Sidearms weren't exactly Japan's strong point, which is why many officers were permitted to purchase Western manufactured pistols.

Edit: In before someone posts a C96 Broomhandle.

Was going to just say type 94. Many early Euro revolvers and autos were kinda ugly like the Roth Steyr.

The MAT-49 like most Frenck products fugly. This was a functional weapon nevertheless. 9MM sub gun full auto only and 9 lbs of it. The only redeeming factor was the grip safety let go and the gun stopped.

The French outdo us on this - that 49 is ugly as hell and a perfect match for the MAS 49/56 rifle. I like mine but it does draw a few stares.

when I see a glock I instantly see the poster gun for gun control groups, and the media "Later On KRON 4 news, Guns and your kids" then a picture of kid playing with a glock. Never was found of the looks of them eathier.
