Feedback on Smith and Wesson Model 27-9

Could I please have some feedback on a recent purchase? Smith and Wesson Model 27-9. Its chambered for both the 357 magnum and the 38 special. Got it for $989. Thoughts?

    Thanks!!!

It's a Smith and Wesson, it should never let you down. Goes boom every time.

The "N" frame Smiths are just great guns. Infact all S&W wheel guns are great, they are my choice for wheelguns. Just some of the models I have/had 10,13,15,17,19,25,28,29,36,57,60,63,65,66,67. I did not experience one single failure with any one of them. Just don't slam the cylinder shut (like they do in the movies) is all I'm gonna tell ya ... and don't worry about the prices being too much/little (you bought it already) just enjoy your new wheel gun !!!

How did you like your model 36? That's the one I'm thinking of buying next. Either that or a Colt Defender Series.

I love it !!! I tend to do more stainless (60) nowadays, just like the fact I can't take the bluing off the barrel when hostered. If you get an older one don't use +P or +P+ ammo. The newer 357's are fine, but just the same I wouldn't shoot hot stuff thru'em. I don't like self punishment ...
