I've got well over 10k down range on one of my glocks and probably another 5k on the other. strip it wipe it down maybe run a bore snake through it a couple times put one dab of lube on each rail and get back to shooting. 4k is nothing. don't worry about it.

-Hunter: "why, so i get a quicker draw from my holster?"
-Guide: "no, so it will hurt a little less when the bear takes it from you and shoves it up your *****!"

Just bring your Glock to the next local GSSF match unloaded and cased at Norco. Get in line for the armorer and let him go through it for free. You don't even have to join GSSF or shoot the match (he won't ask), but I recommend you do both because competetive pistol is so much FUN, and the prize givaway at that match is good (even I won a free Glock from it).

As other stated, 4K is nothing, I do ~20K a year as do many competetive pistol shooters, and we don't replace our pistols every year.

If you're really paranoid, a new recoil spring assembly is $5 from Brownells. I'm sure you could replace that yourself... blindfolded. I can't imagine that your extractor is worn out, but worst case, that's $20 from Brownells, or as has been said, take it to the Glock armorer at the GSSF match to have it checked out and if it is worn, they'll replace it for free.

If you're going to shoot the GSSF match with another gun, I recommend dropping your 23 off at the armorer first thing as they can get pretty backed up.
