Any Glock owners here?

I've put about 4k rounds through my 23 & i think it's time for a check up with Glock. Can anyone tell me how to go about sending this? Do i do ship it through UPS, FedEx etc or can i go to my local dealer...i'm not familiar with what the process is.

call Glock and see if they do such a service, and if they do they will send you a shipping label and you will go to a Fedex office to send it directly to the factory in GA. I think you have to get a case number of sort from them so they can expect it.

glock is so easy to take apart or to replace broken parts. There are ton of books and videos out there that show you how to take it apart. I can take the slide apart less than 45 seconds and a few minutes for the frame. it is not worth it to send it back to glock because it will cost you around $60 bucks for shipping.

There are many many Glock trained armours. Call Lone Wolf order all the parts in your gun and do it yourself.

There isn't much simpler than a Glock the only things I'd keep in stock is a trigger spring and a recoil spring. But if I were ordering parts I'd get the disconnector for the Glock 35 and have a 3.5 pound trigger.

I don't have a Glock and I can probably even service it for you. It takes 30 seconds to DETAIL strip the gun.

Check out Glocktalk, they have instructions on how to take apart the whole gun.

What can get better than this? Shoot some stages, a chance to win a glock (1 in 4 shooters will win something..), have your glock checked out FREE by Glock's Armor (they will replace any broken parts for free)....

Oh by the way.... 4k rounds? lol..... I put 15k-20k rounds thru my Glock 19 in the past 2years.... and I wasn't even worrying about it.... I expect to drive over my G19 with my SUV and still be able to pick it up and shoot....

If you prefer not to do it yourself, an alternative to the GLOCK factory service is Glockmeister in AZ. They do "Annual Inspection - w/Spring Replacement" for $44.

As for shipping, use the overnight service of UPS or Fedex. Don't do USPS unless you are an FFL.

As already posted, at 4K you're just breaking it in Unless you're having some kind of problems with it. No need to send it in, just do routine maintenance, and you're good to go.

I don't own a Glock - I have shot numerious Glocks before and fully disassembled and reassembled them before with out a problem. A Glock is probably the most simplistic and reliable weapon next to an AK.
