I wanted to get a metal guide rod because one snapped on me on the rental gun, I dont want that to happen again so id like to get a metal one. I also found many people complaining about theirs doing the same on other forums. I would just like to not worry about it.

With the price of one metal guide rod, you can buy four stock guide rods which will last you a VERY VERY LONG TIME. Most rental guns have ten thousand of rounds through it without anything being replaced. I replace the guide rod every 5000 rounds on all my glock.
